Here are a few things to know about your new Direct Express® card from Fifth Third Bank.
Once your new Fifth Third Bank card arrives, download the new Direct Express® mobile app* for iOS or Android , use our secure website , or call the number on the back of your card to get started. Set a 4-digit PIN and sign the back of your card to complete setup.

Your federal benefits will be automatically loaded to your account on each payment day.
Use your card to make purchases and get cash back at retailer and bank locations anywhere Debit Mastercard® is accepted.

Our simple and secure Direct Express® app and website make it easy to manage your benefits at any time, from anywhere. Track your balance, make transactions, get help managing your money, and more.

Direct Express® will never ask for your card number, password, PIN, or security code. Our partners—Fifth Third Bank, Comerica Bank, and Mastercard®—won't ask for this info either.
Shield the keypad when entering your 4-digit PIN at the ATM. Don't write your PIN on your card. Always take your receipt with you at the end of your transaction.
Monitor your transactions and statements. See a suspicious transaction? Contact us using the number on the back of your debit card.
